I'm a teacher-turned photographer and entrepreneur, who specializes in working with babies and young children. While I wasn’t cut out for teaching, I really missed the kiddos when I left education back in 2015. I was just doing photography “on the side” when I came up with the idea to offer glamour style mini sessions in preschools. It was a way to merge my two passions in life (photography and kiddos) together and have a really fun job! So, A Little Glamour Photography was born, and it quickly became too much for one person alone.
Nowadays, we service over 250 preschools in the southwest with a staff of 6 (and counting) who keep ALG Photography going. While I still do a little photography in the preschools, they are very long days, so I’m not able to see my son (and soon-to-be baby girl) on the days that I work, so my attention has really been on ramping up my private sessions here in the Valley Of The Sun (Phoenix and surrounding areas).
With having 2 children under the age of 2, I’ve really refined my client base to focus on the momma-to-be crowd, newborns and their families and all the milestones that babies go through! I’ve been very busy with newborn and maternity workshops, lighting classes, and building a studio that I’m proud to be almost done with!
My passion has always been about creating beautiful images that families can cherish for a lifetime. I pour everything I have into each session I do, and love building relationships with the families I photograph. This year has been especially fun because I’ve been doing Kinder Graduation portraits of kiddos that I first photographed when they were only 6 months old (or younger)! I love documenting kids and families as they grow.
I do offer all sorts of portraiture work, so please take a look through my portfolio and even if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, I’m always up for a consultation and styling something that is perfect for you!
